First of all, my boyfriend, one of my friends and I totally spent most of Hazel Days hanging out with the local SCA people- The Incipient Shire of Redewolfden. I was mostly attracted to the fact that they had weapons that they beat each other up with and that I was so completely comfortable with. Which is, horrible to say, unusual. I usually make other people uncomfortable which in turn makes me uncomfortable, which makes for lots of awkward moments. LOTS of awkward moments.
Did I mention that they were all uuber nice and forthcoming in info about what they do?

Anywho- they're having a meeting at 4:30 today for Arts and Sciences, which refers(OMG- I sound like an ad. I can't tell if that's a fail or not. Maybe it's just a Geek moment....) to any task that can further the education into the Medieval Ages.
So I reallllllllly needed to babble to someone about my ... ? Nerd-like expression of joy, sorry if this bored anyone.

OHHHHHHH- totally off topic of the SCA. I just finished this book about Handwriting Profiling, which was really interesting and of which I have bored both my mom and sister to tears about. XD Have I mentioned that if I get really excited about the topic I'm talking about, I tend to babble about it? For, like, half an hour straight? I is a nerd. Or maybe I'm a geek? Is there a difference? What the heck is a poindexter? Did I even spell it right?
Um. Yeah. That's all I think anybody really needs to hear at the moment.....
